I’ve started watching Caprica recently, the ‘prequel’ to the excellent sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica, that spanned four seasons. It’s a different show to the first, but that’s a good thing- trying to replicate success rarely works. Unlike the spacey extravaganza of BSG, Caprica is a younger show that focuses on events several decades before the Cylon attack on Caprica. It has a good storyline, and enough links to the later series to make it that much more enjoyable for fans of BSG. There are meaty racial issues, a good mix of mono-polytheistic religious stuff, and lots of sci-fi in the artificial reality storylines. All in all, tip top stuff.

Except at no point has Zoe (pictured above), got naked and eaten an apple. Yet.
