Le père de mes enfants is a thoughtful, poignant and beautifully crafted tale based on a true story. It is superbly acted, particularly by its younger cast, and poses challenging questions about the importance of business, family, the nature of happiness and the stresses and strains of life, while also providing sumptuous cinematography of central Paris. It’s hard to talk about the plot without giving away a key plot point, so suffice to say if you seek this out you will be rewarded.
