A shout-out to Peirene Press, a small publishing house introduced to me by a work colleague. They publish short stories and novellas in translation, issuing three a year.
I’ve ordered their latest – The Brothers by Asko Sahlberg – and Stone in a Landslide by Maria Barbal to get me started. They appear highly selective in choosing which authors to publish, and have nice covers too. Worth giving them a go I reckon!
