Three excellent resources for beginning to learn Spanish.

1. Finish Michel Thomas Foundation, Advanced and Vocab Builder Courses. You can download Shared Decks in Anki for the first two of these, so you won’t have to make your own flashcards (a time consuming process) Amazon link

2. Work your way through BBC Talk Spanish Grammar – full of example sentences for Anki, and a highly recommended grammar book. Amazon link

3. A useful-looking resource for checking grammar points is Learn Spanish, although a lot of content is “premium” and possibly not worth paying for when you’ve already got the two resources above.

I’ve also heard good things about Assimil Spanish with Ease, although I haven’t really looked into that yet.
